WRL @ Mid-Ohio 2024
With a snowy qualifying round, and freezing temperatures starting the weekend off, we weren’t sure what was in store for the 15 hours of racing for the 3rd round of the World Racing League 2024 season.
With limited runs in the winter weather, the 766 qualified at P1 and the 225 at P7 for Saturday’s 8-hour enduro.
A sunny Saturday morning with cold temperatures meant track conditions would change all day as things heated up—and a brand new track surface added to the uncertainty. The 225 finished the day on the podium at P2, and the 766 at P7.
Sunday’s race was particularly clean, leaving little opportunity to gain an advantage with pit strategies. The 225 finished the weekend at P8.
Overall, a good, fun weekend of racing, and it’s always nice to bring home a little hardware and share the success with the TBR drivers, crew, and our friends and family.
This season also wouldn’t be possible without the support of everyone back at the paddock and following along at home, including our sponsors.
