WRL @ Road America 2024
A successful test day with Max Track Time and sunny qualifying conditions set up both TBR cars for success ahead of the 15 hours of racing for the 4th round of the World Racing League 2024 season.
Both cars artfully managed the field and fought through traffic throughout Race 1 to gain and maintain their positions in the GTO class. After some late-race fuel-saving strategy the 225 finished Race 1 at P2 and the 766 at P6, wrapping up their weekend with WRL at Road America.
Conditions for Race 2 proved treacherous for the entire field. Ever-changing weather, including cold and extremely wet track conditions, kept the drivers on their toes for all 7 hours. The TBR crew executed flawlessly on pitlane and the entire team made smart, calculated race decisions, staying focused throughout the 7-hour enduro. It was a battle to the last lap, with the 225 taking home its first P1 gold of the season, and a sign of good things to come with the addition of Allen Patten to the 225 driver lineup.
