WRL @ Road Atlanta 2024
Road Atlanta put up a fight, and we fought back—qualifying put us in the back of the pack, leaving the 225 and 766 to fight their way up the field. 225 was met with an early end to Race 1 after making contact with another car, forcing an early retirement. 766 kept fighting on, moving up 10 positions to finish the day at P9.
After the checkered flag flew on Race 1, the crew worked tirelessly to get the 225 ready for Race 2 on Sunday, completing a full front-end swap to replace the damaged parts and get the car track-worthy again.
The 225 started Race 2 at P25 with a completely new front end. Fighting through traffic, rain, and lightning delays, the team’s quick pitstops, race strategy, and driver skill pushed the car up 17 places to finish P8 despite the field only turning 80 laps over the 7-hour race.
